My Work

Catalogs

I was always proud of the fact that the Buffalo Games product catalogs were intrusted to me to design. It was the largest project of the year and had a great many things to coordinate, such as producing all the product photos, and pulling all the information and text content needed out of the marketing department.  I worked on over 20 product catalogs, over the 14 year period I was there, and each year I received the same compliment, from the customers who received them, which was “This catalog is the best yet!”.  Each year I improved the design and product photos just that much more 🙂

I am also very proud of the fact that ALL of the 20+ catalogs I designed are in archives at the Strong Museum of Play in Rochester NY.  Below are just some of them. Catalogs_lineup_960

Job: Buffalo Games 2009 Spring Product Catalog
Type: Product Catalog Design, 52 pages
Client: Buffalo Games

Description:
Working closely with the marketing/sales team, not only a new look was created for this particular catalog, it was also the start for a new corporate style that stayed consistent until my departure in 2011. I was proud of this style that was created. I felt it was very clean and modern and gave the company a more upscale look. The interior pages continued the clean look. I wanted to keep everything as consistent as possible on all the pages. All the product descriptions were in the same places and all the product images were done in the same manor/style.

Involvement:
– Cover design
– Layout design
– Look, colors, design
– 3D Rendering of party game photographs
– Design proofing and editing
– Collection of files and handoff to production for print
